Explore Berrima
Brand Identity, Print, Website & Photography

Explore Berrima began as a response to a difficult moment — the double blow of the NSW bushfires and COVID-19 had hit the village hard, and the local business community needed a way to remind visitors why Berrima was worth the trip. What started as a collaboration between Jordan Design and sales and social media manager Natalie Block has grown into one of the region’s most recognised tourism initiatives.

Where It Started

The first project was a 12-page A6 fold-out visitor guide: a pocket-sized companion to the village featuring a custom hand-illustrated map, highlights of local businesses, and a gentle invitation to explore. It was practical, beautiful, and immediately popular.

What It Became

Building on the success of the guide, we developed the Explore Berrima website — a rich, information-packed platform covering where to eat, stay, shop, and what to see and do. We also undertook a series of photoshoots throughout the village to build an image library that could sustain the brand across print, digital, and social media. The project is backed by a consistent social media presence, digital newsletters, and ongoing brand campaigns — all funded entirely by local businesses.

The Result

A thriving, community-supported tourism brand that has helped put Berrima back on the map — and kept it there.
